Impact Futures expands sustainability capability with appointment of Brian Gidudu

Impact Futures has expanded its sustainability capability with the appointment of Brian Gidudu, strengthening the support available to clients navigating climate, nature and pollution expectations at both organisational and project level.

Brian brings deep experience in climate action, nature conservation and pollution reduction, developed through work with governments, financial institutions and major private sector organisations. His expertise includes climate risk assessments, decarbonisation modelling, greenhouse gas assessments, green taxonomy alignment and programmatic climate action work that supports the transition to a low-carbon and nature-positive economy.

“Brian brings a way of thinking that aligns deeply with our ambition at Impact Futures. He will help our clients understand what is coming, what it means for their organisations and their projects, and how to translate that knowledge into decisions that create long lasting, positive impact. He adds real strength to our work at an organisational level and helps us bridge the gap between corporate ambition and project delivery,” says Impact Futures Global Lead Paul Edwards of the appointment.

At Impact Futures, Brian will focus on helping clients integrate climate and nature considerations early in organisational and project level strategy, design and planning. Focusing on early integration, organisational transition planning and clear pathways that link ESG ambition to project outcomes, his experience across large scale infrastructure, precinct development and public and private sector portfolios gives him a practical understanding of how decisions are made and how to guide them through shifting regulatory and market expectations.

“I was drawn to Impact Futures because it transforms strategic intent into actionable solutions that deliver meaningful impact early in projects, in ways that are feasible, cost-effective, and create lasting business advantage. I want to help clients bridge the gap between ESD and ESG so that climate, nature and pollution considerations are integrated early and guide decisions in a way that is credible, commercially smart and future focused,” explains Brian.

Impact Futures partners with clients, industry leaders and stakeholders to balance organisational needs with planetary needs across healthcare, transit, residential, mixed use, education, hospitality, transport, innovation precincts, adaptive re use projects and other organisation portfolios. Brian’s systems-based approach will further strengthen this capability and support clients in delivering ambitious, sustainability led outcomes.
